Rapsodo Pitching 2.0
I am excited to announce the addition of a Rapsodo Pitching 2.0 system at Make the Change Fastpitch. Rapsodo is a cutting edge technology that provides data on pitch velocity, spin rate, true spin rate, spin axis, spin efficiency as well as strike zone analysis and vertical and horizontal break.
This tech is invaluable in pitch design by giving pitchers the knowledge and insight to how their ball is actually spinning and moving. Rapsodo allows pitchers, catchers, and coaches who call the game to understand the best in game strategy for getting batters out based on location and break.

During this 1.5 hour evaluation we will use 4D Motion Sensors, video, and Rapsodo to give the pitcher a full picture of how their body is moving as well as how their ball is spinning and breaking.
This evaluation is only for pitchers 8th grade and older.

During this 1 hour and 15 min private session we will use video and Rapsodo to evaluate ball flight data. We will work on pitch design, and I will use the data to help each pitcher understand why her ball is moving how it is.
Each session will have a follow up virtual meeting to discuss the ball flight data.
This lesson is for 7th grade and older.

During this 30 min session each pitcher will throw a bullpen on Rapsodo. This session is only for data capture. Each pitcher will be entered in the Rapsodo database and will have access to her data and the analysis of that data on the Rapsodo cloud.

This 2 hour session is designed to be a bridge between pitcher, catcher and coach. Each pitcher will have a Rapsodo data evaluation completed. Then we will develop a written plan of attack for each pitcher for in-game use. This is an ideal evaluation for preseason preparation.
